It is estimated that about 20 percent of the 350 000 metal industry workforce is infected with HIV, while only a few employers provide treatment for workers. This lack of progress is still of great concern, despite moves by some big names in the private sector to implement a comprehensive treatment plan in the work place. Khopotso Bodibe reports.
