South Africa has signed off on its outstanding agreement with the Global Fund which will allow the release of money to projects in KwaZulu-Natal.
Days before this happened, Khopotso Bodibe spoke to a senior advisor in the Global Fund, Vinand Nantulya, who explained that getting the signatures was a matter of extreme urgency. Any further delays on the KwaZulu-Natal grant could have resulted in South Africa forfeiting the funds.
