Open letter to Gauteng MEC

SECTION27 and the Treatment Action Campaign have sent an open letter to Gauteng Health MEC Hope Papo. In it, they respond to the claims in his opinion piece published by Health-e as well as continuing challenges in the health system. Read it here.

The South African Government isn't often praised for their health care efforts, however, one thing that they did do right was to take a firm stance against tobacco early on, according to an international health expert.
