We’re seeking a talented filmmaker to produce a high-quality promotional video that effectively communicates the impact of our work. This video will be a key tool for creating brand awareness, and promoting our health journalism efforts.
- Project Planning:
- Collaborate with the editorial team to understand the objectives, target audience, and key messages for the promotional video.
- Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Create a detailed script and storyboard for the video, outlining the visual and narrative elements.
- Coordinate with Health-e News staff and contributors for interviews, testimonials, and on-location shoots.
- Execute on-location and studio shoots, capturing interviews, b-roll footage, and other necessary visuals.
- Ensure the highest quality of video and audio recording, including lighting, framing, and sound.
- Editing and Post-Production:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a coherent and engaging promotional video.
- Incorporate music, voiceovers, and graphics as needed to enhance the video’s impact.
- Ensure the video aligns with the organization’s branding and messaging.
- Review and Feedback:
- Collaborate with the Health-e News team to review drafts and gather feedback for revisions.
- Make necessary adjustments to meet project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Final Production:
- Deliver a polished and final promotional video in multiple formats suitable for various distribution channels.
- Ensure the video meets all technical and quality standards.
- Distribution and Promotion:
- Assist in developing a distribution strategy for the video, including online platforms, social media, and email campaigns.
- Provide support in promoting the video to the target audience.
- Proven experience in video production, including shooting and editing.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Strong storytelling and creative skills to convey Health-e News’ mission and impact effectively.
- Familiarity with promotional video production, including scriptwriting and storyboarding.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
