You don’t like condoms? Try this for size: 45% of South African adults will be infected by HIV within the next ten years. Can you believe that? No. Can you imagine it? No.
Yet this is what the country’s leading AIDS experts are telling us. And they are saying that it’s not just possible, or probable, but that it is definitely going to be that way unless we get our safer sex act together ‘ now.
So lets look at it again.
45% of South African adults will be HIV positive within the next ten years. And 55% of South African adults will be HIV negative. Which group will you be in?
Don’t think your chances are roughly equal. They depend entirely on what you chose to do. To use a condom or not to use a condom, that is the question.
Answer that question and you’ll know which group you’ll be in. ‘ health-e news agency
