Bad service, long queues and the wanton abuse of clients by health care providers continues to be a daily experience in most communities. It is for these reasons that Gauteng public hospitals and clinics in particular have come under scrutiny. This week, Dr Gwen Ramokgopa, MEC for Health in the province embarked on a door-to-door campaign in a bid to promote social awareness about patients’€™ rights and how to attain them. Khopotso Bodibe followed the MEC while she was doing the rounds.
