Gates seeks health innovators to reduce baby and mom deaths

A marketplace (Development xChange) will showcase and demonstrate the innovators’ breakthrough ideas, giving the public the opportunity to touch and feel the innovations which are designed to reduce mortality of developing world moms and their babies at the time of delivery.   The program is Saving Lives at Birth; its objective- to leapfrog current approaches to maternal child health challenges. Melinda Gates will announce the nominees for grants on the evening of July 14.
