OurHealth article leads to TV programme
Senior citizens at this Free State club meet every week to do exercise together to stay physically and mentally healthy.
‘Since the establishment of the luncheon we never had television people coming to film us, this means the club is now well-known, all thanks to OurHealth,’ said the club chairperson, Me Dhlamini Pulane (63). Another member, Mr Mokoena Seabata, said: ‘I am very happy with what is happening today, our club now shows that it’s growing and other elderly people can be encouraged to come and join us.’
Television crew did a programme on elderly people who exercise and keep healthy.
The club currently uses the Mphohadi Clinic resources, and is in need of more space and equipment.
