Progress in the 10 districts designated as National Health Insurance (NHI) pilots has been slower than expected, and dismal in the Eastern Cape'€™s OR Tambo district. Speaking last week health minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi likened it to building a house, and that they were busy digging the trenches while in the Eastern Cape '€œwe are still designing the house'€.
