Getting the right help and support is crucial for people who have experienced gender-based violence (GBV). Immediate support can help victims escape dangerous situations, find safe shelter, get psychological support and secure legal protection. The TEARS Foundation is a non-profit organisation that supports GBV victims by providing a database of help services. Their new report shows that between 2020 and 2023 their helpline, Help-At-Your-Fingertips, received 53 004 calls.
