[Watch] Going To the clinic? Bring Your Own Toilet Paper, Soap.

Water, sanitation, and hygiene are the cornerstones of public health. Unfortunately, the basics are still lacking at some public clinics across the Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, and Limpopo.

Health-e’s community journalists visited 31 clinics across 3 provinces, speaking to over 300 patients, and found that:

72% of restrooms have no soap
90% don’t provide toilet paper
Some clinics are forced to close due to water shortages

The lack of these essentials increases the risk of infection for those seeking care. Watch to learn more.
