0befd449bb38.jpgAs jy VIGS het, en jy gebruik die medikasie, moet jy dit elke dag stiptelik vir die res van jou lewe drink. So nie, bou jy weerstand op, en dan werk niks meer nie.

Maar in die Vrystaat was dit nie pasiente se skuld dat hulle opgehou medisyne drink het nie. Die voorraad het laasjaar opgeraak en behandeling is stopgesit. Nuwe pasiente is ook nie in die stelsel opgeneem nie. Dis asof daar weer ‘€˜n doodsvonnis van krag is vir meer as 30 mense wat daagliks aan VIGS-verwante infeksies sterf, omdat hulle nie behandeling kan kry nie.
