In 2013, TAC members protested against the alleged health systems collapse in the Eastern Cape. Now, the Free State seems to have followed in the Eastern Cape's footsteps

On 6 November, members of the Eastern Cape Health Crisis Coalition presented to Parliament’s Standing Committee on Health.

Representatives from the coalition reviewed efforts made to engage government, particularly the Eastern Cape Health MEC on the problems facing health care services in the province. The presentation also included health worker testimonials.
