Millions of South Africans go to bed hungry every night. A study conducted by Sonke Gender Justice in Diepsloot shows that food security reduced the odds of violence by 40%. Sheppard Dlamini was one of the men involved in the study. His story speaks to the overlaps between hunger, violence and poverty across South Africa today.
