GERT SIBANDE. - The Gert Sibande district municipality is working hard at implementing the National Strategic Plan (NSP) for 2012-2015 that promotes zero new infections, zero HIV/AIDS related deaths and zero stigma.
BETHLEHEM. ' A 27-year-old Bethlehem woman, Nthatisi Tladi, told OurHealth about the service she has experienced from the Mphohadi Clinic in the Free State over the last 10 years.
SOSHANGUVE. – More than 300 Soshanguve residents recently took part in a campaign, called Raising Roots, that gives parents, grandparents and caregivers all the advice and knowledge they need to raise healthier, happier children.
The part worst affected was the female medical ward, particularly the ward for patients with tuberculosis (TB).
TSHWANE. – The community of Soshanguve Block L is fed up with the foul smell coming off the heaps of uncollected garbage piling up in the area.
LUSIKISIKI. - All twelve clinics in the Qaukeni sub-district in the Eastern Cape are dispensing the new fixed dose combination pill (FDC) to HIV patients. This new pill is a triple antiretroviral that is believed to improve adherence as it only needs to be taken once a day. The fact that ARV treatment now consist of just one tablet will make it easier to dispense and prescribe, and make ordering and monitoring stock supply easier for clinics and depots.
VHEMBE. - The clinic management and staff at Matavhela clinic came up with a strategy to help their HIV/AIDS patients take their antiretrovirals (ARVs) regularly.
THOHOYANDOU. - The Department of Health and Social Development in Limpopo is urging everyone who was turned away from clinics and hospitals in the region because of medicine stock outs to go back and get assistance.
LUSIKISIKI. - All twelve clinics in the Qaukeni sub-district here have had no family planning injections since December last year.

A group of about 200 activists from the Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) recently picketed at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital to demand better service.
